Well known for his 11 years as a judge on MasterChef Australia, George Calombaris is a top Australian chef and restauranteur with 25 years of experience in the kitchen. A huge fan of the Robert Welch brand, he started using the cutlery ranges in his flagship restaurant The Press Club over 15 years ago. In George’s words, he is now “obsessed” with the Signature knife collection and has been using them both professionally, and in his home kitchens since their launch.

After training at the exclusive Le Cordon Bleu in London, Sarah Todd made her public debut on MasterChef in 2014 and has since become one of the most exciting names in the Indian food scene. Opening her first restaurant, Antares Restaurant & Beach Club in 2014, documented in a six-part series which aired world-wide, Sarah went on to publish her own cookbook and open a second restaurant, The Wine Rack in 2019. Sarah was introduced to the Signature knife collection in 2020 and has been using them in her kitchen ever since.

Designed in consultation with professional chefs the Robert Welch Signature knife collection feature a fully forged German DIN 1.4116 stainless steel blade with a full tang for superior strength and balance. The Japanese-style blade edge is hand applied at a 15° angle. The handle is made from tactile DuPont™ and is ergonomically shaped for comfort and to minimise fatigue. The Robert Welch insignia (RW) is a permanent steel detail of the handle.
